ATTENTION!
SAVE FILES FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS ARE NO LONGER VALID
BUGFIXES
- The How-To for the "Align the Stars"-Minigame won't pop up twice anymore, when you haven't validated it yet, and chose to do the Tutorial Sequence instead (doing the Tutorial Sequence always displays the How-To beforehand).
- Inserted a short delay (250ms) between a Deadly Trap-Soundeffect (Hole Impact or Spike Damage) and GainXP-Sound, so the latter remains audible and doesn't get drowned.
- After you've performed the Binding Ritual, Shrines with same BindingID as your Covenant will now appear correctly labelled on the Auto-Map, even if you haven't explored that Shrine yet.
- Random Teleport Traps can no longer teleport you on single tiles with no adjacend free Tile. This is to assure, that you'll always have the option to use a Backlink (as long as you have stacks of Arcane Resonance left).
- Regenerating Hitpoints while poisoned would only heal 1 Point per step, instead of a random value (floor weighted) between 1 and baseRegeneration.
TWEAKS / BALANCING
- Resurrection Blight (after respawning at a Shrine) now always triggers, and may also target Equipment, that's already cracked: in that case the remaining crackCooldown is set to 34% of it's current value.
- Streamlined calculation of maximum amount of Enemies, that are allowed to be active at the same time: value is no longer dependent on player's relative strength to current Map's Level Scaling, but on how far they've advanced in the game. Value goes up to 4 (in the final Region).
- Random Teleport Traps aren't as random as you might think ... they now have an above average chance to teleport you within (potential) reach of another Random Teleport Trap (should there be another one present on the current Map). Algorithm does NOT check, if you have the necessary Keys in your possession, allowing you to actually get to that Teleport!
- Handcrafted Maps hold the bare minimum of Keys, that are necessary to explore every nook and cranny. Since they're accounted for whichever Key/Lock -Configuration the generator might roll, there will always be spare Keys lying around, even after you've fully uncovered the Fog of War. This is intended behavior. Additionally, one Bonus Key was added, to provide some leeway in case you make a mistake; before it was manually placed in the Editor - now it's randomly selected and distributed during setup.
POLISH AND QUALITY OF LIFE-IMPROVEMENTS
- When trying to start a "New Game" and there's no World Seed present (e.g. when playing for the very first time), the game will now automatically create one.
- When choosing "Continue"-Option in the PreMenu, the game will now skip Logo and Menu, and drop you right where you left off last time (this is an exclusive fix for the Demo, since Menu Functions in the final release will only be available from in the game).
